Three photos go together here: one of Betty's photos of the moon, another of an angel statue in the ghost town of Bodie, and another (inverted to look like a photo negative and then painted in with copper gradients) of an amazing staircase that leads to a lookout tower at the top of the Sierra Buttes in the northern Sierra Nevadas. Climbing to that high peak did indeed have some of the magic that you see here.
