Davey "Doc" Wiser (below) is a colorful kind of guy who's been the guiding force behind the Highway 50 Wagon Train, a re-enactment that takes place every June, with wagon trains recrossing the Sierra Nevadas. Doc has shaved his beard since this photo was taken--too bad!
