The weathered cedar totems of Kitwancool, at the south end of the Cassiar Highway in British Columbia, Canada, represent the heart, literally and figuratively, of this Native village.

Betty Sederquist's stock file contains dozens of photographs of totem poles (Ketchikan, Hoonah and Sitka), totem pole making, Eskimos, village life, and other aspects of Alaska native culture.
