This special day in your life is something you’ll want to remember, and great photographs helps hold those memories dear to your heart. Coming from a photojournalism background, my style is typically spontaneous and joyful. I prefer using beautiful natural light although I can produce formal, artificially lit group portraits as well.

Except for extremely small weddings (less than 25 people), I use a second photographer. This enables thorough coverage of all those great moments. I always meet ahead of time with the prospective bride and groom to get an idea of the preferred shooting style and to make a list of important photos (we don’t want to miss getting that all-important photo of the mother of the bride, for example).

From my base in the Coloma Lotus Valley east of Sacramento, I am happy to photograph weddings in western El Dorado County. Beyond that, I may charge a fee for travel expenses.

Premium Package

You get the works—engagement session with a 16×20 print for the wedding reception that you can later hang on your wall, two to three shooters for seven hours (each additional hour costs $100), guest signing book with engagement photos, basic album with 200 to 300 4”x6” loose prints, all digital negatives, custom leather album, two parent albums, and sets of professionally produced prints (8 8x10s, 6 5x7s). $3500.

Memory Package

Engagement session with DVD of images, two shooters for seven hours (each additional hour costs $100), custom leather album of the wedding, basic album with 200 to 300 4×6 loose prints, all digital negatives, and 16×20 archival quality wall print. $3000.

Basic Package

One to two shooters for up to five hours (usually an hour before the wedding , the ceremony, some group shots, and the early part of the reception) (each additional hour costs $100), all digital negatives (up to 4″x6″ only), and basic album with 150 to 300 4″x6″ prints. $1300 for up to 50 guests/bridal party, $1600 for groups larger than this.

My equipment includes extremely high-quality cameras capable of making mural size prints, greatly detailed group photos and more.

For all weddings, I provide numerous photos, all with basic adjustments for color and exposure. You’ll get a DVD with these images. Resolution will depend on the wedding package you choose.

You will also have access to an extensive portfolio of the best images on a private, password-protected page. You can order high quality, long-lasting enlargements from this resource at very reasonable prices, whether you want small 4″x6″ prints or big wall-size canvases.

For destination weddings more than 30 miles from El Dorado County, you must pay travel expenses (mileage, hotel and meals).

I require a deposit for half the fee ahead of time and payment in full by the day of the wedding.
